so currently we still have to do our ccr and post it to our blog page and it took a little bit because we kept on laughing and we couldn’t keep a straight face. and i also had trouble remembering the things i was going to say in the ccr and i was going to make q cards so i can read while they record me doing my ccr so we did not finish the ccr and we will do that another day and the post it right away and then when we get home i will start editing the finished product and i will be working on the credits and giving everyone that has worked on the project with me the credit they deserve some were very involved and some cared more than others but as long as we got the job done that is all that matters. demetrius helps me out with editing and he also acts in it and jose helps out with lighting. like demetrious doesn’t actually edit but he just gives me advice on what i should do and how i should edit but does not actually do it. but other than that everything is good.

now as i was going to finish the last shooting scene my actor forgot what he needed to bring while we were shooting so we can not shoot the final scene and that’s all i need to film and then i was done so now i have to go back with my actor to his house after school and it just sets us back behind schedule and makes things harder on ourselves. when the actors make it hard for me it stresses me out but it’s not like i can get new actors because i filmed everything else already with the actors i have. and my group members parents also make it harder on us because they are so overprotective that they will not even let their kid go film for a school project and we’ve told them that it was for a class so it is kind of difficult to schedule around their time and i drive so i offer to pick him up from his house and it is still a hard time for him to make time but i have all the time in the world so it is just stressful even when the parents make it hard on us because he is needed to finish the film.

as we wraped up shooting we went to shoot one last scene but it was raining so were had to wait till it stopped raining. and then we had to make sure it wasn’t cloudy so we had to wait for the clouds to go away. so it was just a lot of sitting around we were doing. and when we finally started shooting we got the shot in one take we did it a second time just to compare the two shots but he messed up so we like the one that he did good on the first try. and then we got different angles so we checked out different angles and then right after I edited them when we were done to see which one we liked better so we didn’t have to do that later. I still have to do the credits but that won’t take long to do and I’ve played around with it before so I know where everything is so it won’t take long to edit the credits in.

during the editing process we had trouble doing the credits because i tried editing on my phone but on i movie it did not have a lot of features that the one on the computer has so i had to send the video to my computer by email. so i edited on my computer and then i tried sending it back on to my phone but it came out blurry so now i need to send it back to my computer and just leave it on my computer and finishing editing it on my computer but i would like to have it on my computer because if im out somehwere i would want to edit it from my phone.

so now i have to edit the music and change it to just the instrumental because if there is singing in the background even if no character is speaking it can still be distracting. so i need to change the music right now so it can be less distracting. and for the music i tried make it non diegetic and switch to diegetic so it looks like the character cant hear the music playing but really the music is playing in his room.

i tried to use lighting in the film in the dark areas like for instance if there was not enough light in a room i would use lights for my camera on the iphone and make the lighting better. i tried to make the lighting for the actors better because it was darker in some areas and the actors could not be seen that clear. so i went out to buy lighting and tried to light them the best i could of my abilities.

i have been trying to make the time work but all the actors can never have the time that i need them at so i must workaround there schedules. i cant just pull them away from there own plans that they have for them selves. i started editing and i added music to the background and put the title over at the beginning. like i said last blog post we still need to film one last part and put in the credits in.

i have to do the critical reflection sheet still before its due and i need to turn in the new script i have changed it so i need to turn that in and the actors have put some input so then i had to change the way some lines were written so because the actors had some suggestions i had to change a couple of lines in the script.

as we continued shooting we have had little problems not many that we had trouble fixing but we would have to do shots over and over again because it didn’t come out right and the actors would sometimes get annoyed. me and my group resolved it though by trying to get the actors point of view on it and asked them how we have the shot done to see if it would work out or not. for the most park we did compromise. we have been shooting out of order we first started with the middle at the beginning of the month and now yesterday we filmed the beggining and lastly we need to do the ending of the film.

I have started editing some of the stuff I put music over the video and the film has to be 2 minutes long but I started editing the beginning and middle and that alone comes up to 1 minute and 45 seconds so I need to cut some stuff out of the film and focus on the really important shots. so I can fit the ending in it and make it exactly 2 minutes because anything longer than 2 minutes would not be looked at so I’m really needing to make a decision of what needs to be cut out for the final project.
